Hackers gained access to the army's YouTube and Twitter accounts
The British military has announced an investigation into the hacking of its Twitter and YouTube accounts.
Cryptocurrency videos featuring billionaire Elon Musk have surfaced on YouTube.
The Twitter campaign appears to have republished some NFT-related posts - a type of electronic investing technology.
The military confirmed a "breach of trust," stating that it takes security information very seriously and that the problem has been resolved. Both accounts are now restored.
"Although we have now resolved the matter," a spokesman added, "An investigation is ongoing and it is not appropriate to comment further."
It is currently unknown what he will do after leaving the position.
The Twitter account name was changed to Bapesclan at one point, and the photo shows an image of another image with a symbol that appears stupid.
The account was literally restored last Sunday.
"We apologize for the inconvenience," the soldiers said. We will conduct extensive research and learn from this event. Thank you for joining us; our work will continue. "
Tobias Ellwood, chairman of the House of Commons' election security committee, described the incident as "significant."
"I look forward to sharing the research findings and best practices," he said in a tweet.
This is not the first time Twitter has prioritized high-profile content.
